Showroom Stylist (In-Person Sales)

We at Black Lapel Custom Clothiers would like to invite energetic and highly personable individuals to join our team of talented stylists and help us provide an amazing customer experience! You will get to work hands-on with quality custom clothing from taking measurements to the final fitting when you get to have the satisfaction of seeing your creation come to life! As part of our team of in-person stylists, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide a world-class experience from the moment a client steps into our showroom; one that they will talk about for years to come!
  • Help clients find their perfect style based on cutting-edge fashion trends to fit individual preferences. From fabric selection to design to accessories, you’ll work one-on-one in outfitting guys to look their best!
  • Learn the art of taking measurements. You will become skilled at sizing up customers for the best fit possible!
  • Become an expert at creatively assessing fit issues and suggesting alterations.
  • Work closely with our production team to double-check customers’ measurements.
  • Contribute to and help enhance a stellar team of fashion-attentive peers!

Here’s what we are looking for:

  • The desire to learn, grow and challenge yourself every day and to be part of a young, exciting and rapidly-growing company!
  • Great verbal communication skills – you’ll need to articulate your ideas clearly and effectively to customers with a friendly, positive and confident tone.
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and a strong sense of responsibility - you’ll need to find the best solution and execute on that solution using the appropriate internal partners and resources to deliver an incredible in-person experience!
  • Very Strong attention to detail.
  • An interest in menswear / style and working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Exceptional written/email communication skills.
  • Experience in customer service and/or luxury retail sales is a plus, but not required.
  • A bachelor’s degree (but feel free to convince us if not having this does not affect your eligibility).
